Lamps displaying rock crystal are rare indeed. We employ this ancient quartz to ornament a number of our designs. 

We may simply place a rock crystal collar at the dainty throat of a crystal lamp. Or we may hang myriad rock crystal pendants from scrollwork. Often we favor a rock crystal sphere as a finial.

And we sometimes embellish our lamps with other gem-quality quartzes besides rock crystal, for example, semi-precious green fluoride.

A Schonbek lamp with rock crystal is one of a kind, because the rock crystal quartz it displays is unique in the universe.

These natural quartzes came into being with the Earth. They are signed by Nature with unique fissures, veins and mists, the result of catastrophic geological events taking place over eons.

Great skill is required for the hand-cutting and polishing of rock crystal gemstones, because of the complexity of the quartz. We have taught artisans this ancient craft.

We fell in love with rock crystal while designing our collection of rock crystal chandeliers. A logical next step was to design a collection of lamps with rock crystal. We use only gem-quality quartzes in our designs.
